The Lisa Thornley School of Dance annual Festival hosted by Miss Lisa Thornley will be taking place at Dearne Valley Playhouse, Goldthorpe, Barnsley on Friday 24th to Monday 27th July 2009.
Lisa’s dance festival is one of 53 IDTA recognised dance festivals where their Blackpool Dance Heats and Championships are held each year including the popular Miss Dance of Great Britain heats.

The 21st annual Ridings Global Dance Festival hosted by Miss Eleanor Claire will be taking place at Priory School, Littleworth Lane, Lundwood, Barnsley. Monday 25th May to Thursday 28th May 2009.

We are really excited, just 7 days after the launch of the New-2-U dancewear recycling programme we have had bags of items donated and already £70 has been raised. The money will now go towards the first of the All 4 Dance and Drama 2009 Bursary Awards which will be handed over in November of this year. As the fund grows so will the awards. (more…)
